I’m a pretty passionate person, and one of my passions is tacos. In fact, my husband and I fell in love while eating tacos at an orphanage in Mexico and so of course we served street tacos at our wedding, but that’s a different story for a different day.
I’m sure we’re all wrapping up the school year asking ourselves, “did I miss anything important?!” Well, for me, I absolutely cannot allow my Spanish 1 little darlings to leave me thinking that the abomination that they call tacos (you know, the greasy, cheesy, crunchy train wrecks) are anything like real Mexican tacos.
If you share my taco convictions, here’s a slide show with a few videos explaining what every gringo ought to know about Los tacos mexicanos.
And if you’re virtual, or exhausted, or sick or just want your kiddos to listen to me for a few minutes, explaining what every gringo ought to know about Los tacos mexicanos, I’ve got you!
[…] Let’s taco ’bout it: It’s important to me that my kiddos know about Mexican tacos (that they’re different than their American counterpart!) so feel free to use this to catch them up to speed! […]
