Tea Party Round-Up

Howdy, folks!

Just last week I did a Tea Party to introduce my level 2 Little Darlings to the cast of Robo en la noche, and it was a HIT! Every time I try a Tea Party, I marvel at how well it works to build intrigue and buy in before a novel, show or movie. And I also always thank God for my dear friend Rita Barrett who introduced me and the rest of the CI world to Tea Parties, an input rich pre-reading or pre-watching technique. Read her blog post explaining them here and read on for a collection of ready to use Tea Parties, shared by friends, organized by type. If you’ve created a Tea Party that you’d like to share, send me an email though this little Blogcito and I’d be happy to share it.

***And just a reminder, you can always “Make a Copy” if you want to edit the language for your students or if you catch a typo. After you make a copy, be sure to click the little file icon next by the file name. This will allow you to tell Google Drive where to save it, so you can find it again! ***
