- It dawned on me that I haven’t gotten sick once this entire semester! Actually…the last time I got sick was back in March, which is truly amazing because I’m surrounded by germ-y little mocosos all day long. AND… I usually I get really sick at least 2 or 3 times a year. WHAT’S THE SECRET, you ask? Grapefruit Seed Extract
. It’s a miracle worker, I tell you! I will also be honest and tell you it’s absolutely the worst tasting thing on the planet… it’s bitter and vile and makes your toenails curl… but it’s better than getting sick! Since last March, every time I thought I was getting sick, I’ve mixed 10-12 drops into a few ounces of juice and slugged it back. (And screamed and stomped my feet, because it.tastes.that.bad.) And I’ve been bright eyed and bushy tailed since then! This is something every teacher needs–it’s like antimicrobial, antiviral, antibacterial, anti-everything…and just read the Amazon reviews…evidently you can use it to cure any ailment known to man or beast. Do yourself a favor, buy yourself a bottle and stick it in your own stocking…you’ve be thankful when all your little darlings are coughing all over your classroom come January! Because Sick Days are more fun when you’re not actually sick 😉 (And to be honest again, that’s an Amazon link which means I’ll get a few cents if you buy it, and it won’t cost you anything…but you can also find it at WholeFoods and other natural Fru-Fru health stores!) One more thing…since I’m being real honest this morning…those are not my feet in front of the cozy fireplace in the picture at the top of this highly informative blog post. I wish they were… my feet are actually in boots, under my desk, watching my little darlings take their final exams. BUT…in two days, you can bet my feet will be in slippers in front of a cozy fireplace!

Merry Christmas, dear friends!
And, since we’re being honest…that’s really me. That’s really my husband. And we’re really sitting on an iceberg in Iceland…Love me some October Break and cheap airline tickets! ($260 round trip, San Francisco to Reykjavík! How could we NOT?!)
[…] the globe! I didn’t think this little piece of the internet would open opportunities like CLIC Webinar and Comprehensible Online. Crazy! You know what is even crazier? Something I never even imagined? […]
